Miami Lakes, FL – The Moover bus service offered to Town of Miami Lakes residents will be adopting a new route based on feedback given to the Transportation Department to better serve Miami Lakes.
Beginning on October 5, 2015, the Miami Lakes Moover will have a new route that will provide a twice daily connection to Hialeah-Miami Lakes Sr. High (HML), both before school entry and during dismissal time. The extension to HML will provide approximately 400 HML students that live in Miami Lakes the opportunity to take transit to school. Students and residents can track the Moover using the Town’s newest mobile app, Lakes Life. To learn more about Lakes Life, please visit: www.LakesLifeMobile.com.
In addition, the Moover will first travel south on Ludlam Road and then west on Miami Lakes Drive, instead of heading west along Miami Lakeway North. This change will place the route within walking distance of residents living in southeastern areas of town, while not greatly affecting residents near current stops.
Remember you can track the Moover busses live on the Town’s mobile app “Lakes Life”. For more information about the Moover, please contact Héctor Solimán-Valdez at 305-364-6100 x1145.
